The
town Moravská Třebová was founded about middle of 11th. Century by Boreš from
Rýžmburk who called some colonists from the middle Germany and upper Falce.
And so a region , until then settled just a little by Slavonic people became
a part of German language island, which was named “Hřebečsko“ in 19th century. Chateaus – Moravská Třebová – the oldest stony portal from t

Magical road
Not only the restaurant Excalibur, but also the town Moravská Třebová and its surroundings have magic atmosphere. Just 3 km far from Excalibur, a really interesting
place occures. It is a road that leads uphill, but in fact if you leave a break-released car
there, it will go uphill on its own. The same will happen with a plastic bottle filled up with water and so on.
For that reason, the matter is not only about the magnetic energy; although, there is a great spring with strong iron-bearing water on the opposite hill – see the photo. Sensitive people may experience dizziness and some other feelings and the area creates a big optical illusion. So don’t get confused there – the road a little bit, but really downhill, which proves the photograph. Here end the normal physical laws of this world. There are also another similar places on the Earth; the best known is the so-called magnetic hill on Philippines.
How
do you get there? It is the last turn on the right, which is before the entrance
into the tunnel, in the direction Moravská Třebová – Svitavy (road sign Hřebeč).
The effect mentioned here becomes evident after about 100m, when you have turned
off the main road.
