hope is a magician Merlin with whose help after many years of fighting the
brother of former tyrannical ruler Vortigerna – Uther Pendragon becomes the
king.
He and the wife of the duke Gorloise – Igrain beget an illegitimate son Arthur who grows up separately and under the surveillance of Merlin. Uther has a fatal injury in a
fight and before he dies, into a rock he hammers a magical sword Excalibur.
When Arthur grows up, without any problems he pulls the sword out which
nobody before him was able to have done. And so according to the prophecy he
becomes a king. The time of natural law and the reign of the righteous king
Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table starts.
Their residence the castle Camelot and all the country grows well until his wife, the queen Guenevera, falls in love with Lancelot – an unbeatable knight from the lake. Arthur goes to pieces and the country gets cut again. The only cure of all is to find the Holy Grail. Parzifal and the rest of the Knights of the Round Table are trying to do so.
During that time, an enchantress Vivian imprisons Merlin into a rock and Arthur is
badly
injured in his last battle with his nephew and his son Mordred. The lake
virgin takes the Excalibur back and Arthur is taken away onto the Island of
dead Avalon, where one day he will recover and return when the country will
be the worst……
